Calling all current or aspiring entrepreneurs and intrapraneurs starting new initiatives within organizations: I’m excited to announce the first-of-its-kind Innovation Mindest Credential offered at Northwestern Michigan College this fall! Throughout the 12 weeks of the program, you’ll learn from business experts with hands-on experience who are teaching a series of classes to help you think like an entrepreneur and turn ideas into solutions. I’ll be teaching design thinking and leading a panel on how businesses of all sizes integrate ESG into their strategy. I hope to see you there!

Hello, I'm new to the community and glad to be here. I have background in product development and innovation. I've worked in several organizations large and small (100,000 to start-up).
I'm currently searching for employment in the Traverse City area, but would love to connect and help others that need my domain expertise.
Thank you.

Founder at LooUQ Sense • Know • Act

Hello everyone. I am looking for web and iOS/Android application collaborators on potential customer engagements. Let me give you some background to see if we are a possible fit.

I am CEO of LooUQ in Traverse City. LooUQ (pronounced look) designs and manufactures wireless communication products (modems), LooUQ also has our LQCloud device management and integration system (backend). I am speaking with a prospective customer that likes what LooUQ offers but would prefer for a complete solution including the web application (dashboard) to display information about their fleet of sensors (5,000 – 10,000) devices. While LooUQ could develop this dashboard, that is not a core-competency and not really what I want LooUQ focusing on. This need has surfaced before and will surely appear again, so this hopefully explains my ask.

What I am hoping might be possible here in Northwest Michigan is to build a circle of collaborators interested in participating with LooUQ on remote sensing and control systems. LooUQ’s infrastructure, your UI (I am happy to help with opportunities you may have that require remote sensing). I would be thrilled to see the local community build a something like a tech coop where we can leverage each other’s focus and skills to deliver bigger than our individual capabilities.

What do you think?
Thanks Greg
